After thirty years of wandering the landscape of Taoist self-cultivation and Chinese Martial Arts, the spiral has turned,D'Agostino Laoshi has returned to the beginning (yet at a much different level). The name of the first school D Laoshi opened in 1978 was called Eternal Tao Martial Arts Institute. Well, life moves you around a bit (as we all know) and his wanderings have brought him to some very interesting places in the world of Chinese martial arts & Taoist studies, As a result, the name of this new school is Eternal Tao Taoquan, to reflect the changes that he has discovered in himself over the last thirty years and his focus on internal alchemy of spirit
Eternal Tao Taoquan takes a Taoist approach to training. This is the cornerstone of all practices taught at Eternal Tao Taoquan. The union of Tao and man, Energy Cultivation and Taoist Philosophy are at the heart of what he dose.
The curriculum takes an integral and mindful approach to the study of Hong Junsheng style practical method Chen Taiji, Silk reeling, Push Hands, Shan Dong Northern Praying Mantis, Classical Chinese Weaponry, Diet / Nutrition, Herbs and long-life cultivation.

Mastery of his martial arts and the desire for self-mastery through self-cultivation has led him on an amazing journey over the last forty years. This journey has led him to train with some of the most respected and accomplished teachers. These teachers include Taoist Master Ni Hua Ching, who taught Qi Gong and Taoist self-cultivation, Master Frank Paollilo Tao of martial arts, Master Chan Poi Northern Praying Mantis system, Master Li Enjiu a renowned master of Chen Taiji, Two handed sword and Taiji Plum Flower Praying Mantis from Jinan China, In addition to training with these renowned masters, D. Laoshi as trained at the legendary Shao Lin Temple on his pilgrimages to China.
A gifted athlete, he received many accolades as an outstanding wrestler, winning many tournaments and championships in his youth. This trend continued as he competed in martial arts events, winning at every level at which he chose to compete. The culmination of his tournament career came in 1989 when he ranked as the number one practitioner of Chinese martial arts and Grand Champion winning gold medals in empty hand Northern style, Spear, Internal weapons & synchronized forms at the prestigious 1989 International Championships in Houston,Texas. This honor is the highest given in the U.S. to a Kung Fu practitioner.
As a teacher, D. Laoshi has served as head of the Florida AAU Chinese Martial Arts Division, has been the Chief Judge at numerous National and International events in Internal categories, Kung Fu divisions and weapons divisions. D. Laoshi was also featured on ESPN's coverage of the Masters Demonstration at the 1997 World Championships in Orlando, FL. performing a memorable battle ax form.
